RE: An Open Plea...
To All of Our Prayer Partners, and Friends,
We are writing this letter to update you on the plans and functions of this Independent Messianic-Christian Ministry. Pastor Steven Anderson and his wife, Joan, founded PSALMS 23 MINISTRIES in 1997. Pastor Steven has operated as an Independent Minister since 1977, offering Services to those who can’t afford the services of many organized "churches", or who are not a member of a church. These services include, but are not limited to: Counseling, Marriages, Bible Studies, and much more.
At the end of 1998, Pastor Steven was awarded 26+ acres of land in a TVLB Land Auction. This land is located here in "The Heart of Texas"! Since it is only by The LORD’s Will and Guidance that we own this land, we have established this as our Ministry Headquarters, as well as our home and ranch property.
We offer Open-Aire Ministry Services, Retreat Facilities, plus Online and 1-on-1 Counseling and other Ministry Services. We offer these services to everyone, REGARDLESS of financial contributions to this Ministry, and, this is why we are required to write you this letter. We are asking for each person who receives this letter to consider making a small contribution to this Independent Ministry to allow us to continue The LORD's work.
All that we ask from you to make a DONATION as little as $ 5 per month, that is only $ 60 per year! For those who can afford to make a larger DONATION, $ 10, $ 20, $ 50, or even $ 100 per month, we ask that you listen to The LORD’s Leading and follow HIS Will. Please be assured, 100% of all DONATIONS shall go to the operations and development of this Ministry, to be a glorious "light unto The LORD".
For those who can afford to DONATION $ 20 or more per month, you shall receive a Certificate of Membership upon receipt of the first year’s DONATIONS, and shall receive “Voting Rights” as established by our By-Laws. Yearly Contributions of $ 1,000 or more, shall also receive additional Membership and Voting Rights for each year their DONATIONS are received before April 15th, as established by our Board of Trustees.
